Not every dull or lightly worn hardwood floor needs a
complete sand and refinish. When the existing floor and finish are good candidates, a maintenance coat, screening/recoating or shallow sanding process may refresh
the surface and extend the time before a full refinishing
project is needed.
When a Maintenance Coat May Be Enough
This option is generally intended for surface wear rather
than deep damage. Floors with worn-through finish, deep
scratches, major staining, contamination or other adhesion
